Dr. Farid Gogani earned his DDS degree at University of Gothenburg in Sweden. After his graduation in 1994, he entered into private practice. He also became a key member in the research team at the department of Cariology at his university. The main focus of his research was in caries prevention, development of new dental products and modern restorative techniques.
Dr. Gogani became licensed to practice dentistry in California in 1999, and ever since has practiced in the Greater Sacramento area.
Throughout his career, Dr. Gogani had a vision of creating the very best dental office which could present the ultimate perfection in dentistry. In 2005 he started implementing his new ideas of modern dentistry into the design of his new dental office, Citadel Dental.

    Wow, emergency Dental Dr Farid Gogani is quite something !!! First off, we called and they made time for my hubby right away. Then the abilities of the Dr to actually operate on my husband and take care of 2 teeth of which one in very very bad busted root condition was amazing !! My husband even said how caring the Dr was and even tho in this kind of bad condition the Dr was gentle and never hurt him.We will definitely come back if .... God forbid .... anything happens again, and we for sure recommend this Dr at Citadel Dental to anyone needing special care !!!!!!

    Dr. Gorgani actually stayed late until 8pm to work on my teeth. My schedule is a bit hectic during the work week, so he offered to stay after hours. I don't know many dentists that would be so accommodating. Oh, and He did an amazing job as well

    I was in pain for a few days now my dentist could not see me for another month so I called...They got me in the same day and extracted my tooth. Amaazing. The staff and the doctor were very nice although I am a medical patient none of them treated me bad as I have experienced in the past. The doctor was very nice and he extracted my tooth in seconds . I cannot thank him enough and the friendly staff. I literally hate going to the dentist but this experience was very good and I would definitely recommend him to all my friends and family members.

  • I was so very pleased with our emergency visit here for my 14 month old daughter. She had fallen and her tooth was shifted. Dr. Gogani told us to come in right away and was very gentle with my daughter and gave me peace of mind that her tooth was okay. The staff was so so wonderful!     I was extremely pleased with my emergency visit yesterday. I went into my visit with the intention of getting a molar extracted (boy was I wrong!) Dr. Gogani advised me that the infection was so severe that not only would I need surgery to remove the tooth, but that I would need bone grafting done as well! At that point my nerves begin to kick in and I become a nervous wreck! Lol but with everything running so smooth in his office, and his staff reassuring me that everything would be okay helped me out a lot. Dr. Gogani and his staff are extremely professional, experienced, and knowledgeable. Great dental experience! Only one visit! Painless and pleasant.Thank you again Dr. Gogani
